Como cada año, los sabados de octubre a noviembre se ha jugado en Palafrugell el XXIV Costa Brava, Memorial Joan Gelpí, y como otro año, el premio gordo se lo ha llevado el IM Joan Fluvià, número 1 del ránking inicial (este año con mucha más ventaja de elo FIDE respecto al segundo) pero que tuvo sus dificultades en algunas partidas e hizo tablas con Alex Vidal y Didier Fernández, cuarto y segundo de la clasificación final respectivamente. El grupo B se lo llevó Miguel Angel Alejo, con unos buenos 7.5 de 9. Un buen montoncito de dinero fue el que se llevo el jugador del Palafrugell Daniel Morales, que ganó el sub-14, el local y el tercero del ránking. El torneo este año batió récord de inscritos con un total de 88 y no solo de la provincia de Girona, sino que hubo jugadores de Barcelona y uno de Tarragona.
Como siempre, el Costa Brava ha sido un torneo cálido en estos tiempos frios de casi invierno.
Por cierto, el femenino de Girona se lo llevó Laura García con 4.5 (empatada a puntos con la segunda y la tercera) ya que este año no puedo e hizo 3 tablas (con Cristina Vidal, con Júlia Muratet y conmigo). Segunda mi hermana y tercera yo. Así que quizás nos vemos del 27 al 30 en Ampuriabrava.
Y como no, felicitar a mis amigos el GM Ivan Salgado y Keti Tsatsalashvili por quedar ¡SUBCAMPEONES DEL MUNDO SUB18! Muchisimas felicidades :)
Y nada más, solo informaros que el Memorial Lluis Muratet Edición de Invierno (12-13 de diciembre) no se hará, que este puente (días 5-6) hay en Platja d'Aro el torneo de semirrapidas, 3+2 y simultaneas de Rosich y que en Tarragona el 6, 13 y 20 hay el Gran Premio de Tarragona, organizado por el GM y amigo del blog Arthur Kogan.
