Los dias del 27 al 30 de diciembre se ha jugado en el Aparthotel Xon's Playa de Ampuriabrava (Girona) el 67º Campeonato Femenino de Catalunya y ya tenemos a la mejor ajedrecista de Catalunya del 2009: la jugadora del CE Mora d'Ebre Mireia Terrones que hizo 5 de 6 sin perder ninguna.

Este año el torneo ha brillado por la increible fuerza de las jugadoras que no partían como favoritas y que consiguieron ganar y entablar a sus rivales superiores. La primera ronda fue una clara demostración de esto:

Y no solo fue la primera sino que todo el torneo estuvo muy reñido hasta el ultimo momento cuando Mireia ganó a la jugadora del Peona i Peó Carla Marin que había liderado el torneo desde el principio y se proclamó Campeona de Catalunya.
El podio lo completó Carla como subcampeona de Catalunya, y Elisabet Ruiz, la joven jugadora del Vilafranca varias veces Campeona de España de su categoría. Premio para Laura Martín, del Llinars y Laia Barbosa, del Balaguer como 4ª y 5ª respectivamente.
En fin, solamente desearle a Mireia muchísima suerte en el Campeonato Absoluto de Catalunya y a todos vosotros un feliz año nuevo 2010.
